2020 sucked, no sugarcoating it. With the world on pause, toilet paper treated like currency, and sanity slipping, we said “screw it” and bolted to a cabin in the Smoky Mountains.
Remote waterfalls replaced travel plans, Deals Gap gave us the twisty adrenaline we needed, and we spent the rest of the time goofing off in the mountains like feral pandemic escapees. It wasn’t normal, but nothing was, at least the trees didn’t care what day it was.
