Screams, Dreams & Tiny Figurines

Our annual pilgrimage to America’s Roller Coast took us back to Lighthouse Point, where the beach is nice, the coasters are fast, and Siren’s Curse plus Top Thrill 2 nearly rearranged our spines in the best way possible. Somewhere between the screaming and overeating, we stumbled onto a hidden figurine. Apparently Cedar Point’s visitors have been running a low-key scavenger cult since 1870 when it was nothing more than a bathing beach. Naturally, we got hooked and spent the rest of the day crawling around like theme-park raccoons hunting plastic treasure. Came home with a nice little stash, questionable dignity, and memories that are one coaster drop away from trauma.
