Puerto Vallarta: The Rashening

What began as a sunny getaway quickly spiraled into a tropical epic of delays, wildlife, and suspicious rashes. Our flight in was delayed by a day, balanced karmically with an unexpected first-class upgrade, where we acted classy and confused in equal measure.

Once there, the middle child revealed an uninvited souvenir: Lyme disease (because why not add a plot twist?). We adventured barefoot through Yelapa like jungle goblins, released baby turtles into the sea like emotionally unstable marine biologists, and somehow found time to enjoy tacos with a side of “is that rash multiplying and getting bigger?”

The flight home? Delayed 12 hours. Spirits? Delirious. But hey, what’s a vacation without a mild medical mystery and a little barefoot chaos?
