The yearly trek to Cedar Point was back on. As usual, we decided the best way to prepare for an exhausting day at an amusement park was to spend the night before sitting around a campfire, eating hot dogs, and drinking beers. Solid preparation, really.
The next morning, it was time for the main event. We rode every single roller coaster in the park, ate way too much food, and somehow managed to walk about 10 miles while doing it.
This year we also added a new member to the annual trip: Brayden, Isabella’s boyfriend. He willingly signed up for a full day of roller coasters with the family, so I guess we’ll find out if he comes back next year.
We stayed in the park after dark, which meant riding the coasters at night and taking Mayflies directly to the face at roller coaster speed. Nothing quite like getting pelted with bugs while flying through the darkness.
Another Cedar Point trip in the books. Already looking forward to next year.
