Entropy in Cozumel: Jeeps, Ruins & Radio Roulette

Cozumel didn’t disappoint. We posted up on the quiet northern side of the island, then linked up with my mom and auntie for a full-day jeep ride that took us around the whole place, southern lighthouse, Cocos on the east side (where fiddling with the radio nearly sent us straight into the Caribbean), a tequila farm stop, and a peek at some island ruins. Twice we hopped the ferry to the mainland: once for Playa del Carmen and the Mayan wonder of Chichén Itzá (with a cenote stop and mind-blowing food), and again to explore Tulum and the surrounding jungle. In between the ruins and road trips, most days were spent exactly how Cozumel intended, lounging poolside with tequila, snorkeling in turquoise water, and eating our way towards diabeetus.
