Rolled into Newport, Ohio for a little off-grid getaway. Just us, the trees, dark skies, and howlin’ coyotes. Hiked the trails from camp into Wayne National Forest to feel outdoorsy before heading into Marietta for some top-shelf research at Black Diamond Distillery (for science, obviously). Did a quick stop at Mound Cemetery, where folks have been chilling since 700 BC. History, hiking, and hooch, that’s a balanced weekend.
